Middelburg - 17 June 2010- Fourteen-year-old sailor Laura Dekker, who intends to sail around the world single-handedly, shall remain under the supervision of the Bureau Jeugdzorg (Youth Care Agency). On Thursday 17 June 2010 the Middelburg District Court decided to extend the Court's previous supervision order by one month.At the Court hearing, Bureau Jeugdzorg requested the Court to extend the supervision order by two months. Their request was: a supervision order for one month, to be imposed immediately, and the remaining part as a suspended order.
